I think today is what I call "angry selling" by some holders. As you say, on these volumes it doesn't take much to knock down the SP and that can cause a small run of capitulation. IMO, it's a dumb move to sell now with further off-take news burgeoning. If A40 is causing heartburn then take a week off from looking at the monitor. The company is not in trouble and the outlook for the next 6 months is positive.
