I partially agree with the statement about products looking for markets, and A4N has said it themselves about the Al Nitrate market. That niche uses will be developed now that A4N has produced a world leading material. Its possible A4Ns Gamma product is also a market creator. Check out the key specs for A4Ns gamma vs the current suppliers.
Also people tend to have a misunderstanding about the uses of HPA. Separator coatings also use materials such as boehmites, its not just Alpha Al2O3. And most Anode/Cathode coatings do not use HPA directly (EGRs process does). The coating ends up as HPA but is applied using other Al products such as precursors. Same for ALD techs.
