Immediate requirement for experienced Site Services Coordinator in Gladstone, Qld

Pacific People Solutions are pleased to be working with the team at Alpha HPA, an ASX listed company, to source a Site Services Coordinator for their brand-new processing plant in Gladstone.

The Alpha HPA First Project is the application of the company’s licensed Smart SX technology to produce a range of high purity aluminium products, most notably their Ultra High Purity Alumina, Ultra High Purity Precursors and their Ultra Boehmite. These products will provide the raw materials used by leading decarbonisation growth industries including LED lighting & lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.
This full-time permanent opportunity will allow you to be directly involved with a highly innovative business during its commercialisation phase
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is willing to roll up their sleeves in order to get things done whilst engaging with a dynamic team of engineers, process technicians and scientists.

As the Site Services Coordinator you will report directly to the PPF Maintenance Team Leader and will coordinate all site services under the direction of the AlphaHPA management team.

You will be the first point of contact for managing logistics as well as bulk materials handling, operating a fork lift, loading trucks, as well as storing & picking items. You will also perform inductions and act as the point of call for requested site services, visitors & contractors.

We would be really pleased to receive your application should you possess:

• 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Trade Qualifications or trade type experience
• High level of computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CMMS, MEX)
• Construction White Card
• Forklift ticket (High-Risk)
• C-Class Drivers License (essential)
• Skid Steer Ticket
• Previous experience in managing, planning & organising contractors and supply service providers
• Proven & demonstrated experience in a chemical handling/process, heavy industry or site type operational environment
• Exceptional time management, organisation & recording skills (essential)
• Strong commitment to workplace health & safety with a 100% ability & commitment to conduct and adhere to health, safety and environment policies & principles
• Experienced in bulk materials handling
• Prior experience in coordinating general & heavy freight logistics
• Self-motivated, highly pro-active & resilient attitude
