I believe for ATCs initial plant they will be purchasing precursor, until Malaysia is up apparently.
However this gets back to a point I was chasing up where I couldn't see an easy way you can actually produce any kind of precursor using the Kaolinite/HCl process (metakaolinite -> HCl sparge... -> AlCl3.xH2O -> Al Hydroxide ->gamma HPA -> alpha HPA)
I asked an industrial chemist of an ASX listed company and they mentioned one way, but that way would need to be a completely different circuit in the plant and ran the risk of introducing significant contamination to the end product.
