    Does it ever occur to you if labor had not run up such massive debt over five short years then NO austerity measures would be required?

    I am astounded that you seem to think it's OK for labor to cause this devastation and then complain that an incoming government has to pull the belt in to prevent Australia from going the way of Greece other other countries.

    Surely, as an ex-headmaster you would have sufficient logic to understand that if something is wrecked, if someone is living off the credit card with little restraint, eventually someone has to pull the belt in.

    If labor had not been so irresponsible (imo), then the pendulum would not have to swing so far the other way. Sorry, you might just have to put up with the consequences caused by the side you so blindly support through thick and thin.

    And, do you not realise that the majority at HC are likely to be pro-business? Many here would be investing in business. I think you are preaching to the wrong crowd...lol
