I’d be pretty sure that the market would not react very well to news that South32 is divesting its juicy cash cow Met Coal assets only to load up on cashflow negative Nickel assets. I believe in counter cyclical acquisitions but this doesn’t make any sense to me. Frankly, it is the dumbest idea I’ve heard in quite a while.
