Just wanting to highlight an event which happened overnight that should have an indirect effect on us.
I'll have a read of the 2025 Exp' Program announcement later today and give my thoughts on that, if I have any.
- Firstly, gold is having another run at ath's, which is always a good thing and certainly can't hurt.
GDX is also catching a bit of a bid.
- A few stocks I keep on my Newfoundland watchlist did pretty well last night, but there one that stood out in particular: Sokoman Minerals Corp.
- "Sokoman Hits 69.48 g/t Gold over 4.85 m at Moosehead Gold Project in Central Newfoundland"
Also quoted: "with visible gold (including abundant visible gold) in 9 of 13 holes from the Western Trend".

Unfortunately their announcement is brief so it doesn't give as much detail as we do on the ASX.
- Unfortunately for us, this hit happened at their Moosehead project, which is a fair way from ours.
- I think this is of benefit to us for a few reasons:
1. Sokomon has been getting these kinds of hits at Moosehead since ~2018, however this time the stock actually moved.
Is there money coming back into the sector?
Will their price stay up, or will speculators just sell into good news?
2. If they make a massive discovery, or if this is a news making event, this could draw funds into Newfoundland to take advantage of nearology plays like us.
