The problem is, the untrue trading going on, deliberate manipulation of the stocks to keep it down, over time you see a buy price at x price, and someone will sell at y price thats lower than the x price at a really small amount that that still seems to kick the price down.
you also see that it happens when news comes out that is okay news not bad news by any means from the company where the price gets pushed down rather than reflect info. Unfortunately this manipulation is screwing any true growth in SP, I think the stock market needs a review to stop and monitor ridiculous and unrealistic trades that cause this. Try and allow a more stable natural growth depending on results.
