    I pretty much agree with your thoughts on both Abbott and Rudd. Although it is probably too much to expect a "revolution" in education and health taking place within 3 years, at least there is now no excuse / buck passing between the states and the Feds....they are all on the same team.

    It is water under the bridge but I really believe the states were obstructionist in terms of fixing problems because it suited them to undermine the Feds. The states ought to be flush with money with record GST revenues, record gambling revenues, record stamp duties...there was really no excuse for many of the problems we now face.

    I am looking forward to Rudd achieving a lot in the next 3 years, I think he will be a safe pair of hands and will spend the proceeds of the prosperity the Libs helped build up wisely.
