For near on two years on the politics threads we heard nothing but Abbott.....Abbott.......Abbott from the lefties.

Now we have Turnbull.....Turnbull.......Turnbull from people of the right.

To me it's quite laughable really.

Though I'm a coalition voter I've never been a fan of Turnbull (The man) but I think he should be given time to settle into his job.

Interesting is the fact that since Turnbull became leader the coalition approval rating in the polls immediately soared and Shorten has become Mr 14%.

Of course there are those who believe Tony Abbott was badly done by being rolled as leader and that it's all Turnbull's fault. Oh really?

I have a lot of respect for Tony Abbott (the man) but I do believe he came up short as a party leader and Prime Minister in today's political environment.

Politics is a tough and brutal game and we should all remember that.

Anyway........this is all JMHO.
