Any who really believes, as you declare, that 'the Abbott government is the least efficient government of the past 44 years' must either been living in cuckoo land,or a baby when Witless Whitlam was in power, or had their eyes closed during the fiscally, and politically, chaotic years of the on again, off again Ruddy Duddy/Gillard/Ruddy Duddy. Federal Labor Governments. A Government so successful it managed turned a billion dollar plus Surplus into a billion dollar Deficit, and still rising into the stratosphere, when it was, rightfully, killed out of Office.
The worst Prime Minister, by a country mile, is Witless Whitlam closely followed by Rudderless Rudd, with Gillard 'I know nothing', close behind.
