koala, i have friends that dont smack and dont need to smack their children. i dont tell them or interfere in any way in their families.

my family are big,stubborn, rough and tumble . at times a polite "could you not do that, please" just wont cut it.

if I done something wrong at my grandfathers farm my older brothers, uncles, grandfather would correct my behavior very quickly with a smack. i can remember it rarely happened but was done with no malice.

everyone was treated with love not anger even the cattle.

every family is different and what works for your family doesn`t for mine and vice versa. so please dont be telling me what I can do and cant do with regards to my family.
