Yet Windsor phoo-phooed this offer in last night's program as not being "much difference!" Then leaned on Oakeshott heavily over the Broadband issue.

Perhaps Oakeshott has wrongly taken all the flak which should have been directed at Windsor - the arch egotist and arrogant in the extreme! At no stage was he ever FOR the Liberals - thanks to Hawker, his cousin.

Abbott will go and visit the troops when it suits him - not on some rushed photo opportunity trip when there is no joy he can give them with regard to additional support. He is probably appalled and embarrassed that no such extra support is forthcoming from Gillard and Co - yet she has no qualms with coughing up an uncosted $43 billion for some hare-brained pie in the sky computer updating.

One thing soldiers will NOT want are token rushed visits by phonies who are just preening their own images to generate headlines.
