Just so we understand what has happened here - a bloke (not his party) reintroduces a gong which is now the highest gong in the land and gives it to a non Australian who the vast majority could not give a fat rats clacker about. Staggering at all levels and will bring about Abbotts own downfall in his own party - let alone from the great unwashed on the other side.
