I too take a libertarian view of individual liberty and freedom of choice. However, a society operating under those conditions requires that all other participants follow the same rules of tolerance. If a group within that society does not allow its members individual liberty (eg death for apostasy) of has openly called for the overthrow of pluralistic society, such a group has revoked its rights to be tolerated. I apply this rule to all creeds but lately only one major group is triggering alarms, literally and metaphorically.
