Hey PD,
I agree that the coalition would have spent less, and maybe wasted less (as a %) than Labor. But would you agree that the majority of the turnaround in the budget is due to lower tax receipts caused by the GFC?

I think that value for money is important, but even waste (and I hate waste) creates economic activity. I know people that 'waste' their money on the pokies, but it keeps people in jobs.
