Yeah right - our electricity bill increased by 20% in the first quarter after carbon tax was introduced (compared to the same period the previous year) and then was 50% higher by the second quarter (compared to the same period the previous year) after carbon tax was legislated.
Don't give me this over five years nonsense. I'm talking about the weeks DIRECTlY AFTER CARBON TAX WAS INTRODUCED. I have the bills to prove it.
So stop waffling on trying to spin labor's unwanted and horrendous tax as something insignificant.
It's a bad tax which ever way you look at it and with Australia's contribution to global co2 being around 1% how can this horrible extra strain on our economy actually help the environment?
