Abbott is not some leftie follower. He decides what is right on our behalf after he considers advice and facts. This did not happen under rudd and is the centre of a lot of these problems of course. Rudd went over there and bent over for the Indonesians and basically handed them control of our borders. That is part of the reason why most Australians fired labor.
