Hairy is quoting someone else’s comment (see the Tweet) and using it as the Thread header.
Now the ABC does that all the time. They use a quote in a headline so that people skimming the news will see it and that’s all they see. It might only be one person’s opinion, but they present it as all-encompassing.
If you don’t like what Hairy has done, you must be even handed and condemn the ABC for the same thing, after all they have much greater coverage and impact than Hairy. Not to mention journalism ethics that they contravene all the time.
