    "Big water abusers" ?????????

Whilst Kinglake was suffering under the Black Saturday bushfire tragedies (and it still is!) the Victorian Labor Government were made aware that a resident was commercially trucking out, almnost 24 hours a day, (and through the drought prior to the fires) huge volumes of bore water, which many other residents have to tap into as their only water supply.

I know this because I was at a meeting with a relevant Labor politician when people protested.

This water was being sold to an International soft drink company, and to keep the gardens of the rich in Toorak watered through the drought.

    It is still being sold.

Bores which people had relied on are now running dry, or are dry. Their underground water tables have been heavily depleted.

Yes, a Labor Government oversaw this, and did nothing about the protests.
