If Tony Abbott had been more transparent with mainstream Australians and up-front about his intended great big CUTS-CUTS-CUTS HE should have told Australians about his plans to increase disadvantage for low income earners, the needy and the vulnerable and to improve the lot of oh already wealthy.

Abbott may still have won the election. He would then have had a clear mandate and would not have seen the unprecedented reactions to his draconian, wealth transferring budget.

Abbott now finds himself up to his eyeballs in a political mess HE has artfully created. His resort to again blaming Labor for a crisis people know was really the GFC and largely averted will NO longer absolve HIM from responsibility.

Well people are increasingly sick and tired of Abbott's lame blame game and self-serving delusional excuses. HE is the PM and people have a right to expect HIM to fix what HE has labelled a mess.

In Opposition Abbott did his level best to obstruct, amend and damage Labor's efforts throughout the GFC. Under his preferred system of combative government he now had to break yet another of his great big promises and negotiate with minor parties and cross-benchers - something HE failed in 2010!

No-one owes Abbott any favours and the sooner he stands aside the less damage HE will inflict on the social fabric:
