First time round Malcolm Turnbull was somewhat politically naïve and overcome by ambition to deliver his vision for Australia. Sadly, he also had a lot of disloyal rats in his ranks who used their first opportunities to destabilise and remove him - by ONE vote as I recall!

As for your question about buying a car from a used car salesman; the Abbott scenario is of course far more alarming.

Under the Abbott scenario we've signed up to buy a heavily marketed product only to find later that it's something altogether different involving a great deal of financial pain for the Australian family and its overseas friends.
