the subject is Abbott, and his suitability to run a country.

On this score, mistyrains is correct: the guy made for a functional opposition leader, but as a PM he does more harm to our cause than good.

Abbott needs to exit stage left, so that the true visionaries in the government can shine, and get the country's fiscal position back on an even keel.

Abbott lacks the minimum level of statesmanship and nous required to inspire a nation.
