Building a few more dams would have been the logical choice, it was always going to rain as it always does!! just come off the wettest August on record!! waste of money and I bet I will be proven correct that the desalination plant will never be fired up!! the only reason it was built was to help out the union and their lucky members who had the opportunity to work on the project and earn hundreds of thousands of dollars....for doing sweet FA!!
