If there was any doubt before as to what has gone so terribly wrong with the federal government's aged care sector there isn't any more.
According to a report in the SMH today Liberal Party Senator and former Minister, Concetta Fierravanti-Wells has described how decisions made by Tony Abbott and Scott Morrison crippled the system.
In essence, the Liberals slashed and burnt the aged care sector and established a new bureaucratic committee instead of doing what was needed - even pigeon-holing Fierravanti-Wells to shut her up and enable Abbott to break his 2013 election promise.
