It seems logical that the virus is out there in the population in big numbers. Only the very old show symptoms. Thats why you see the high count in aged care.
Most people dont get tested cos they dont want to be quarantied or on a govt database, or people just dont know they have the virus and are asymptomatic.
In Germany people who get a postitve test, of those 84% of them are asymptomatic so hospitals are empty The virus is mild for almost everyone.
