If Julia Gillard or Stephen Smith used the same description as Abbott to refer to the tragic loss of an Australian soldier you would all be calling disrepect, treason, resignation required. Once again it was mealy mouthed Tony using a poor choice of words a regular habit with him. A muzzle is needed but surely we ought not need a muzzle for someone vying for the top job.
I just hope that a competent decent Malcolm Turnbull is restored as leader and the bar would immediately be raised in spite of the nonsense rants from Ben Bradley about Turnbull.
