The Libs are definetly on a path to oblivion but there will be bumps along the way. Right now an unpopular Labor Party is providing the Libs with some reprieve.
Unless it can reinvent itself Labor is on the road to oblivion too. IMO the days of two big parties running the country for their own benefit are almost over and the future will be coalitions of minor parties forming government of which the remnants of Lib and Lab might form a part.
