Hi Phantom , I said Abbott could be a key player here a few months ago but not just for AVR s TAVR . Abbott or J and J both have the capacity financially and technically to exploit the ADAPT tech to its full potential . It would be interesting to know how many of these SAVR are implanted and what Abbott’s potential liability could possibly be if there are many failures . The fact that they have pulled these valves off the market so abruptly speaks volumes . Interesting times ahead we might see some serious bidding sooner rather than latter . I have to agree with you if Abbott where to aquire AVR I would think Edwards would be in serious trouble and it will definitely hurt Medtronics profits . Great info my friend thanks . GLTATH
