Tony Abbott has said this election will be about trust, this from the man who has told us not every think he says should be take as gospel and only carefully scripted statement should be taken as gospel
Speaking at a press conference in Parliament House Mr Abbott did not take any questions, ending the press conference after just over three minutes. Not surprising, Abbott always avoid question but he can’t expect to continue doing that
Mr Pyne said the coalition would announce costings for all its policies "between the time of the budget and the time of election". "We can't announce anything about our spending, about our tax policies ... until there's a budget."
Hang on, was not every page of the mini campaign book stamped with fully costed and budgeted.????
Well I expect polling over the next few weeks will continue to show that labor & LNP will be neck & neck on 2PP but it will be the leaders satisfaction ratings and prefered PM that will spell Abbott's fate.
With Abbott currently polling well below Gillard as prefered PM and rating as the second most unpopular Leader in polling history and the fact that no party has ever been elected to goverment with a leader so unpopular the Lib's will not want to go to an election with their fingers crossed.
The choice for the Lib's is simple, when the time is right get turnbull to step up to the plate and be assured of victory
