eagle is typical of most labor supporters in that he/she has a clear lack of understanding of policies & their effect on the economy.

apart from not understanding how the super tax works eagle clearly doesn't understand that the resources he lays claim to are worth nothing without the ingenuity, entrepreneurship, risk taking & capital invested by the miners to find & then extract them from the ground in order to create the POSSIBILITY of a profit.

& i say a possibility because there is no profit until a transaction is completed. so a profit requires a customer willing to pay a high enough price.

now the argument that the 40% super tax is good for the mining industry & australia is a bankrupt argument. are they saying that 40% is better than 35%? if so then why not make the super tax 50%? or 75%? wouldn't this be better than 40%? that is their logic & that is what supporters of this tax are swallowing.

in fact why not nationalise all profits in the name of a 'fair go' for ALL Australians.

VOTE 1 Liberal or National at the next election, end the madness.
