    thalweg,

Labor's troubles started a long time ago.

I remember listening to Rodney Cavalier talking about when he joined the ALP and his life in general. He was an MP between 1978 and 1988 (approx.) and he was born in 1948. So he joined before he was 30 but I don't know when.

He said that when he joined the Labor Party it's average age was his age and when I heard him talk some years ago its average was still his age.

So he is in his mid 60's and so is the ave of the party.

The ALP lost its purpose when there wasn't much left to reform. They have no youth left to rebuild with.

Now there are a lot of things to reform and it will be the New Working Person's Party led by Tony Abbott that will do the reforms.

Perhaps we have lost Two Old Parties and created a Brand New One. I believe that the New Liberal Party under Tony Abbott will eventually split into two parties. The walkers (that walk the walk) and the talkers that (talk the talk).

Old Labor ain't coming back because they have nothing in the tank.

    MI
