THE former long-serving Labor treasurer in South Australia, Kevin Foley, has praised Tony Abbott as the best opposition leader he has ever seen. ....................... I agree wholeheartedly with the above. Regardless of what others believe, Tony Abbott insists that his role as oppossition leader is TO OPPOSE and bring down the Government. I have NEVER seen anyone do this as well as he has. He is the best ever master of using his prime and inate tools of negativity,derision and doubt. He has genuinelly succeeded in casting doubt on the Government and on Australia's future.
Gillard has assisted somewhat by simply not being able to sell her achievments and policies.
Great work Tony, even Bill Kelty recognised it.
BUT BUT BUT He will be a lousy leader of this country. He is not able to uplift the spirit and will of the people. He cannot take them with him. As his peers have said, he is an economic illiterate. He has had two years to move the people with his policies as alternative government and has done NOTHING of the sort.
