the problem we have, is our voting system, we could spend hours debating the senate debacle. tonight , we have pauline hanson throwing her hat back into the ring with her tirade against police for not taking out the martin place gunman with a straight shot like every one saw on the media! that has obviously touched a good feeling nerve with interviews with people on the news claiming she is a great australian. heaven help us if that is a common belief. as well we have an individual in qld desperate to get notoriety and recognition to get a senate seat on the basis of child sexual abuse by demanding that santas not allow children to sit on their laps. unfortunately all over australia we have these individuals trying to get a gift term in the senate or a monetary return, with no regard for good governing. optional voting for those that have a definite view rather than a card pushed down their face would be a better alternative.
