    Your thread header is a little misleading. My understanding is that Abbott said they could look at the numbers reviewed by Horwath.

    I would trust numbers reviewed by an accounting firm like Horwath long before treasury. Yes auditors get it wrong from time to time (OneTel, Enron...) but they live in the "real" world.
