I find it incredible that the Abbott supporters think Abbott would make a better PM than Turnbull, fortunately they are in the minority.
Abbott’s CV is rather slim in terms of work experience and financially he has little to show for someone of his education background.
Then we have Turnbull who was brought up by his father living in rented apartments and from there the following is a brief out line of what he has done.
Mr. Malcolm B. Turnbull served as the Managing Director of Turnbull & Partners Limited. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Turnbull was Chairman and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Australia Pty Ltd. Mr. Turnbull worked as a journalist in both television and print in Australia and Britain before commencing legal practice in Sydney where he also served as General Counsel and Secretary for Consolidated Press Holdings Limited, Australia's largest magazine publisher and television network broadcaster. Mr. Turnbull has extensive experience of and involvement in the publishing and broadcasting industry in Australia. He practiced at the Sydney bar for a number of years before becoming secretary and general counsel of Consolidated Press Holdings Ltd. In 1986, he established his own law firm, practicing largely in commercial and corporate matters and in 1987 established Turnbull &. Partners Limited, an investment bank. He is the Honorary Federal Treasurer of the Liberal Party of Australia and Chairman of the Menzies Research Centre. He served as the Chairman of FTR Holdings Ltd., a technology company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX"), since November 20, 2001. He has been Non-Executive Director of FTR Holdings Ltd. since October 1995. He is a Director of Reach Ltd as well as a number of other companies. He served as Chairman of the Board of OzEmail Limited since December 1995 and also as its Director. Mr. Turnbull received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees (LLB) from the University of Sydney and his Bachelor of Civil Laws degree from the University of Oxford.
