Abbott is pilloried for having a mortgage whilst Swan, Wong, Rudd, Obied etc etc appear to be millionaires. Isn't the ALP supposed to be an egalitarian organisation?
A little anecdote: last week I was helping a mate prepare a premium mountain property for a holiday rental. Anyway, a former Labor MP rocks up in his Mercedes LIMOUSINE for his $4800 a week stay. What happened to humility, egalitarianism, modesty? Couldn't buy a holden, camry, civic??? What the hell has happened to the ALP??
