Abbott's Allies

According to the report below from Mark Kenny:

"... Visiting Ottawa for a full day of talks with the conservative Canadian Prime Minister and close friend Stephen Harper, Mr Abbott flagged intentions to build a new centre-right alliance led by Canada, Britain and Australia along with India and New Zealand. ..."

Abbott's declared agenda appears to be based around a return to cold war era politics:

. Establishing a hard core reactionary block of nations including Canada, the UK, NZ, India and Australia to marginalise and President Obama and nudge the US back into wars against what he believes to be "Islamic terrorism".
. Making personalised derogatory comments about Vladimir Putin and denigrating Russia's responses to the Ukraine Crisis.
. Backing Japan against China, even though Japan illegally seized Chinese territories it now claims as its own.
. Refusing to fulfil Australia's international obligations to asylum seekers and refugees but allowing those with millions to buy their way into Australia.
. Massively reducing Australia's support for overseas aid.
. A global declaration of war on taxing the already wealthy while increasing taxes on the poor, low income earners and the vulnerable -  so evident in HIS budget of lies and broken promises.
. Agitating to block the spread of global efforts to price carbon, even rolling schemes back.

This from a man asleep at the wheel during D-Day celebrations, who tried to to impress French youngsters with his self-serving attempt at French and even referred to Canada as "Canadia".
