The vast majority of the Australian people want the boat arrivals to slow down and then be stopped.

That's want we want. We don't give a toss about Indonesia or Malaysia or anyone else's feelings.

Now the government that we elected should do what we elected them to do.

And the Abbott government is making a start.

I will judge them on their performance now that they have been sworn in.
