Either way, it is the A in AGW that counts most and if it turns out that the A is not the big factor that the professional 'mankind must repent' types insist that it is then we are better served adapting to any changes that are coming our way.
Economic vandalism affects our capacity to adapt, especially as a country. So if you care about those around you most you should not be so quick to sacrifice our economic strength for the global warming bandwagon.
