Abbott and Hockey will simply take an axe to these policies the moment they get in. They wont have a choice. Everyone will let them do it as well since most people know they are top heavy. The labor opposition will then scream the usual social injustices, but like Newman, they will have little effect. The new govt will need to also clean out unfair work Australia and take a long hard look at the unions and work practices. These are the things the lefties will go nuts over, but its some of the real issues that strangles the economy imo. for all the talk of Gillards chicken hut, what have they really done for the majority of Australians? $12b on schools and our kids marks don't improve? $2.5b on pink batts and then they give us a carbon tax on top?
