A $60,000 scholarship is a rather large scholarship, most are for only a few thousand and even they are difficult to obtain.
All I'm saying is that she either be very very good to obtain a scholarship that is not even publicly listed....or she got it as a backscratch. I'm all for scholarships going on merit, as long as they are going on merit.
Wouldn't it seem a little hypocritical if Abbott and Hockey force students to take on ridiculous amounts of debt at such a young age (try buying a house as it is for a young person let alone telling the bank you owe 100K), while his own daughter gets a free ride? Didn't Abbott get a free ride as well?
