    But then Raider, you are correct in questioning the use of the word inherit.

    It usually refers to the transfer of an asset from a "loved one" to another. Sometimes, rarely it is used to describe a genetic defect passed on.

    To describe what carried over from RGR to Abbott and Co as an assett would be laughable, were it not criminal.

    Genetic is not appropriate either, so perhaps we could ask Macquarie whether "politically defective inheritance" could be considered valid?

    It certainly seems Labor's gift to mankind.
