There you go misrepresenting reality and downplaying expectations of Tony Abbott & Co yet again.
Reality:
1. For the first time in history Australia's economy is AAA Stable rated by all major ratings agencies.
2. World best economic KPIs: low inflation, low OCR, 5.7% unemployment, increasing private savings levels, reducing private indebtedness levels that had risen rapidly to alarming levels under John Howard, deflated housing bubble created under John Howard, GDP growth of 2.5%, public spending averaging just 22% of GDP under Labor despite the GFC after averaging 24.5% during John Howard's record profligate era, ...
3. The arrival of 50,000 desperate and vulnerable asylum seekers over a period of 6 years is trivial compared to the 46 million people in the queue made much longer by illegal wars John Howard committed Australians to fight in.
4. As for welfare shoppers; I seem to recall that Tony Abbott came to Australia in just those circumstances; as economic refugees from his beloved homeland no less! Talk about hypocrisy!
5. If Abbott is elected as PM, there is no doubt that he will underperform on delivering what matters and over perform at rewarding his backers.
