I doubt it's worth watching. In an interview published in Australia on 28 April, outgoing President Ramos-Horta said it had been a mistake for the Gusmão government to make piping the gas from the Greater Sunrise field to Timor-Leste 'a matter of national pride'. 'The issue should not have been politicised … it should have been considered on the basis of technical and economic assessments,' he said. Ramos-Horta said he is 'frankly perplexed' that for 12 months the government refused to talk with the Woodside-led consortium that wants to build a floating LNG processing plant above the field, rather than piping the gas to East Timor. The government even organised demonstrations against Woodside executives in Dili. 'We must be the only country in the world that has organised demonstrations against international investors'.

With the carbon tax and likely fall of LNG prices due to solid supply by 2015, Woodside will be vindicated for maintaining a strong position on economic and technical grounds.

The ABC will simply drible more of the same...but probably fail to mention that LNG gas prices will fall 15-20% by 2015.
