Its not only the ABC. A few days ago I read a couple of AAP stories quoting Joe Hockey and his comments about the unlegislated tax increases by labor. Joe said most were being wiped. The inference was definitely and clearly a lowering or wiping of many of these complex tax changes. AAP just reported what Joe said without any inference of bias.
But on the 6pm Seven news, Mark Riley managed to cast a totally different picture. He mentioned a couple of taxes that were staying, cigarettes etc, and did not mention the dozens being dropped. The casual viewer was left with the impression that the Abbott government was all about increasing taxes, - which was the exact opposite of the AAP report, and the truth.
