I have just seen the episode as I'm in the West (and a proud Curtin Uni grad). It seems to me that a VRB could be an alternative to what they are trialling at Alkimos, the new housing development presented in this episode. That shed load of lithium batteries each with its own set of indicators, seems a lot less efficient than larger battery types.
