Well, yes and no.

Conservatives like to throw the word 'woke' around a lot because they hear it everyday coming from the pathetic conservative media that they are glued to. These are the often the same people who brag about how corrupt and distrustful the MSM is, yet they wouldn't have picked up on that word from anywhere else. They are also probably not aware that they are using it incorrectly due to conservative media changing the meaning of it, in effect weaponising it to be used as a slur. Instead of it meaning 'awareness of issues that concern social justice and racial justice' they use it to mean pretentious, elitist and 'easily offended'. It helps to paint them as the victim and makes them feel comfortable with their racist views.

I'm sure you're well aware of this.
