"On 21 August 2019, the Supreme Court of Victoria's three Court of Appeal judges voted 2–1 to uphold Pell's convictions.[214] The seven judges of High Court of Australia unanimously quashed the conviction on 7 April 2020. Despite being released from prison, Pell still faces 10 sex abuse lawsuits,[215] some of which pertain to his time in the Diocese of Ballarat in the 1970s.[216] The overturn of Pell's Melbourne conviction also did not prevent the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC) from releasing a statement defending the accuracy of Revelation, an ABC-TV three-episode special which first aired in 2020 and suggested that Pell sex abused two boys when he served the Diocese of Ballarat at an orphanage in the 1970s.[217] Despite the fact that the online rerun of the third episode was temporarily removed while undergoing a re-editing process to update content, ABC did not permanently remove Revelation's reruns following the overturn of Pell's Melbourne conviction." Is the ABC in the Poo here or are there Civil cases against Pell pending?
