Amazing how trading halts are called after Margin lending sell downs. AFG...ABS....Who's next...
It must give directors time to sort out how to refinance personal affairs. Don't think for a moment that all their ABS stock is used a margin security to invest back into ABS. What about personal assets, i.e. homes, holiday houses, other shares, etc.
No wonder the company announces a decrease in profit of 50% and still maintains the dividends. Directors got to pay them margin loans. Talk about capital management..
